Tuberculosis is the leading infectious cause of death worldwide.1 Tuberculous meningitis (TBM) is the major cause of death and is one of the most severe manifestations of extrapulmonary tuberculosis. TBM is associated with severe morbidity and high mortality of extrapulmonary tuberculosis.
